Recap: March 2011 Art Show (Angela Casagrande)

March 22, 2011

Angela Casagrande's "Neither Here Nor There" - REVEL Alvin owned it by the end of the night!

A big warm welcome to all of you who found our page through our first REVEL newsletter!

First and foremost the staff would like to thank all of you for patronizing our show, with your help we nearly doubled attendance from our first show (just under 300 came through our doors). We’re hoping that with this blog those of you who enjoyed our March show can be kept in the loop regarding future events and even be a sounding board for those of you with comments or questions. Speaking of which, if you have any suggestions for future show, or would like to let us know how you liked our March show, feel free to give us a holler below!

Preparing for the show. REVEL Kent cleans while REVEL Aaron prepares labels.

Our goal is to bring you bigger and better things with every show, and March brought us Sunshine Catering & Consulting owned by the talented Joy Reinhardt. The entire staff would like to thank her in-kind donation to the Center and look forward to working with her again in the future.  Many of you left with with her business cards, but for those of you who may have not noticed the stack, click here to inquire about her services.

One of many tasty bites prepared by Sunshine Catering & Consulting!

Unfortunately we don’t have too many pictures of the event indoors as REVEL ALVIN was busy publicizing the event outdoors, but we’ll make up for it at our next shows with lots of photos. Besides a heftier recap, our April show should bring some outdoors music and possibly some wine! We’ll keep everyone posted!

Curried Egg Salad, another welcoming hors d'œuvre made by Joy.

If you would like to join our REVEL newsletter please e-mail us at art@saccenter.org. We’ll see all of you next month!
